He found that when people ate eggs regularly—as many as two daily—they significantly increased the levels of lutein and zeaxanthin circulating in their bodies without boosting LDL cholesterol levels. Unless your doctor advises otherwise, go ahead and enjoy eggs regularly. Each egg you eat doesn't actually cause high cholesterol. Instead it helps improve it which makes an egg pretty healthy too eat since the fat content is also low and eggs content many nutrients your body needs to be healthy and strong. Some of those nutrients in eggs are vitamins A, B6, B12, D, and minerals such as iron, calcium, choline, potassium, and phosphorus. There are all sorts of ways to get eggs into your diet to help improve eyesight so just make sure you do.

DHA is found in much higher concentrations in the retina than in other parts of the body, thus, a deficiency may trigger AMD.So commit to eating more fatty fish, and don't stop there: shellfish, such as oysters and crab, provide good amounts of zinc, another nutrient thats found in the retina and may also help protect against AMD. According to the very latest research, fish is indeed extremely good for your eyes.
